Let's Celebrate!

This little bunny looks so happy playing in the field of flowers flying their kite!

This card starts with a Thick Basic White card base, followed by a Dandy Designs Designer Series Paper (DSP) panel and then a Rain or Shine Specialty DSP panel.

The Dandy Designs DSP is one of the FREE offerings with the Sale-A-Bration promotion.  See below for more information regarding Sale-A-Bration or click here to shop Sale-A-Bration

The Rain or Shine (DSP) was used to make all of the elements of this card along with the coordinating Playing in the Rain dies.  When the dies coordinate with the DSP it makes it so quick and easy to cut out the various elements.

To make the stump, I rubbed Early Espresso ink on the stump die so that when the stump was cut out from the Crumb Cake cardstock it would show the tree grain and bark. The stump was adhered onto the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals.

The bunny was adhered onto the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue except for the ears. The ears were left free, so that they could be curled out a little bit from the card to help show the bunnies excitement.

The Basic White cardstock bridge was adhered onto the card using Foam Adhesive Strips that were cut in half lengthwise so it would not be visible on the bridge rails.  This enabled the bridge to stick out away from the bunny by about an 1/8".

Only the top part of the kite was adhered to the card front using one Stampin' Dimensional. The kite string was adhered to the card using a very thin line of Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  The kite tails were cut out using scraps from the Rain and Shine DSP and adhered onto the kite string with Mini Glue Dots.  All this gave the kite the appearance that it was flying.

Loose Daisy Embellishments were scattered along the ground and on the bridge and adhered using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Here's a peek at the inside of the card.

The sentiment is from the Peaceful Deer stamp set and has been stamped in Mossy Meadow ink.

The border along the bottom of the inside of the card is from the Rain or Shine DSP.
