Hand Penned Mother's Day Card

This beautiful card was made using the Hand Penned Designer Series Paper(DSP).

The card begins with a Basic White card base. The next layer is Highland Heather cardstock. The top panel is Handed Penned DSP.

The Hand Penned DSP comes in a packet of 12 sheets of patterned paper, two each of six double-sided designs.  All of the paper in the pack coordinate.  This card was made using various sized panels that have been backed with Highland Heather cardstock and then adhered onto the front of the card.  I love using this technique to show off the different patterns in the paper pack.

The flowers and leaves were stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink and then the flowers were colored in by stamping with the fill stamp using Highland Heather, Daffodil Delight and Mint Macaron ink. The centers of the little yellow flowers were colored using a Dark Pale Papaya Stampin' Blend.   Once colored the flower bunch was cut out using the Penned Flowers dies and then adhered onto the front of the card using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Stampin' Dimensionals. For this card two flower bunches were used.

The sentiment has been stamped in Highland Heather ink and is from the Daffodil Daydreams Stamp set. The Double Oval Punch was used to cut out the sentiment.

The sentiment on the inside of the card is from the Blessings of Home stamp set and has been stamped in Highland Heather ink.  The flower cluster on the bottom corner of the card has been stamped using part of one of the Hand Penned Petals stamps and then colored using the coordinating fill stamp along with Daffodil Delight, Highland Heather and Mint Macaron ink.
