Summer Lovin' Theme Blog Hop

Welcome to Team Stamp It Groups Summer Lovin' Blog Hop! Whether you hopped onto my Blog from one of my teammates or started with my blog, I'm awfully glad you "hopped" by.

When I saw the Welcoming Window stamp set it reminded me of a picture I had seen of a beautiful blue door with a rose brush growing around it.
The Welcoming Window is a fairly versatile stamp set.  It comes with different window ideas, a couple of plants, several plant pots along with a variety of other stamps and it has coordinating dies.  I don't know about you, but I love it when the stamp sets come with coordinating dies.

The Basic White card base has a Pacific Point panel along with a Basic White front panel.  The "bricks" were randomly stamped using Smoky Slate ink.

The shelf was stamped in Cinnamon Cider ink onto Cinnamon Cider cardstock and then cut out using the coordinating die and the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine.  The flower pot sitting on the shelf has been stamped in Real Red ink.  The plant in the pot was stamped in Evening Evergreen and Real Red ink.

The "glass" in the window is a piece of Vellum cardstock.  The vellum window was stamped in Cinnamon Cider ink and then adhered onto the back of the card front using Tear and Tape adhesive.

The shutters were stamped with Pacific Point ink onto Pacific Point cardstock and then cut out using the coordinating die.

The flower pots were stamped in Real Red ink onto Basic White cardstock and then cut out with the coordinating die.

The rose bush that is growing up the side of the house was stamped first with Old Olive ink using only half of one of the flower bush stamps.  Next, the flowers were stamped using the coordinating flower stamp and Real Red ink. The roses were then colored with the Wink of Stella Glitter brush to give them some twinkle.
The sentiment on the front and inside of the card are stamped in Pacific Point ink.  The flower pots on the inside of the card have been stamped in Pacific Point ink and then cut out using the coordinating die.
