I saw this technique on page 105 of the May 2021 - April 2022 Annual Catalog and knew I had to give it a try.
The card is made using the Hand-Penned Memories & More Card Pack along with the coordinating Hand-Penned Memories & More Cards and Envelopes and the Penned Flowers Dies. The Hand-Penned Memories & More Card Pack comes with a total of 50 cards and 4 Sticker Sheets. One of the stickers was used for the sentiment on this card. The card pack would also work well for scrapbooking.
The front card panels have Highland Heather cardstock bases.
Once the center flower was cut out using Basic White cardstock and the detailed Penned Flowers die, the flower pieces were removed from the detailed flower. The detailed flower base was then adhered to the card front using tiny dots of Multipurpose Liquid Glue. The flower pieces were colored with Light and Dark Daffodil Delight, Light and Dark Mint Macaron, Light and Dark Pale Papaya and Light and Dark Highland Heather Stampin' Blends. Once they were colored, the pieces were then adhered back into their location on the detailed flower base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
I love how this card turned out, however, I think the next time I do a card like this I will adhere the cardstock to an Adhesive Sheet and then cut it out using the Penned Flowers Dies.
