20 Days of Christmas - Day 15

Welcome to day fifteen of my 20 days of Christmas.
This card used the Gingerbread & Peppermint Memories & More card pack and the Gingerbread Dies. Having the card base already to go really made this card go together quick.

The bells were cut out using Basic White cardstock and the Gingerbread dies.  Adhesive strips were adhered to the back of the Basic White cardstock before cutting out the bells, this made it easier to adhere the bells to the card front.

Old Olive cardstock and the more detailed Christmas Pinecone dies were used to make the pine boughs.  The pinecones were cut out using Early Espresso ink and the more detailed Christmas Pinecone dies.  These were adhered onto the card front using the Adhesive Sheets that were adhered to the cardstock prior to being cut out with the dies.

To finish the card, Gold Holly Leaves were glued to the card front and then a Cherry Cobbler and Gold 1/2" Metallic Ribbon bow was placed between the bottom of the Gold Holly Leaves and the top of the bells.  Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels were randomly placed on the card front.

The sentiment has been stamped directly onto the card front in Cherry Cobbler ink and is from the Christmas to Remember stamp set.

The sentiment on the inside of the card is from the Christmas to Remember stamp set and has been stamped in Cherry Cobbler ink.  This pine bough and pinecone are from the Sparkle of the Season stamp set and have been stamped in Mossy Meadow and Cinnamon Cider ink.

20 Days of Christmas - Day 7

Welcome to day seven of my 20 days of Christmas.

This card was made using the Peaceful Place Suite, which includes the Peaceful Cabin stamp set along with the coordinating Cabin dies, the Timber 3D Embossing Folder, Peaceful Place Designer Series Paper(DSP), Snowy White Velvet Sheets, the gorgeous White 3/8" Glittered Organdy Ribbon and Subtle Shimmer Sequins.  This colors in this suite are basic black, basic gray and smoky slate.  The Peaceful Place DSP is one of the most beautiful papers I have seen, most of the sheets are accented with embossed metallic silver.

The Peaceful Place DSP was used for the background of this card.  To make the night sky, Night of Navy ink along with a Blending Brush were used to create the night sky background.  This panel was adhered onto a Night of Navy card base.

The trees were stamped in Mossy Meadow ink and then cut out using the coordinating die from the Cabin dies and the Stampin' Cut and Emboss machine.  This layer was then adhered onto the night sky panel.

The cabin was stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink and then colored using Light and Dark Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends.  The "shady" parts of the roof on the cabin were colored with Light Balmy Blue and Light Smoky Slate Stampin' Blends and then the colors were softened and blended a little bit by using the Color Lifter Stampin' Blend.  This same coloring was also done on the snow banks and under the trees.  Wink of Stella was used on the roof of the cabin and on all of the snow banks to give it a little bit of a glimmer. Once everything had dried this layer was adhered onto the night sky panel.

For the top panel, the second largest Layering Diorama die was used to build the Basic White frame around the scene.  To help tie the "frame" in with the rest of the snow scene a little bit of Light Balmy Blue was added along the bottom edge of the panel using the paint brush side of the blends pen. Wink of Stella was also added to give it some sparkle.

The larger tree in the forefront of this card is from the Peaceful Place DSP. A Light Mossy Meadow Stampin' Blend was used to color in various spots of the tree and then the tree was fussy cut out.  The original tree in the DSP was quite tall, so when I was cutting it out I only cut out a portion of the tree.

The smaller trees on the lower right hand side of the card were made using Mossy Meadow ink and die cut using the coordinating Cabin dies.

The sentiment on the inside of the card is from the Sparkle of the Season stamp set, the Merry Christmas is from the Cherish the Season stamp set and has been stamped in Night of Navy ink. The snowflakes are from Snowflake Sequins.

20 Days of Christmas - Day 6

Welcome to day six of my 20 days of Christmas.

This card was such a fun card to make and was inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest created by Tami Hewlett.

Peaceful Place Designer Series Paper was used for the background of this card.  All of the paper in the Peaceful Place pack are colored in hues of black and white and some of the sheets have silver foil accents embossed into the paper.

Night of Navy and Balmy Blue ink along with a Blending Brush were used to create the night sky background.

The trees were stamped in Mossy Meadow ink.

The fox was stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink and colored with Light Cinnamon Cider ink.

Once everything was colored each layer was cut out using the coordinating Cabin dies. A tip that Tami Hewlett shared was to make sure to stamp your designs on the left hand side of the cardstock to allow room to adjust the snowbanks and layers.

To "build the scene" the night sky background was adhered onto a piece of Basic White cardstock.  The trees were the next layer and were adhered onto the night sky background. The cabin layer was next in line to be adhered to the scene followed by the fox layer.

The front of the Basic White card base was cut out using the second largest die from the Layering Diorama Die set.

The background piece was adhered onto the backside of the Basic White card base card front.

The sentiment for this card is from the For Unto Us stamp set and has been stamped in Misty Moonlight ink.

The sentiment on the inside of the card is from the Peaceful Cabin stamp set and has been stamped in Misty Moonlight ink.  The trees are also from the Peaceful Cabin stamp set and have been stamped in Mossy Meadow ink.
