A card that opens once is lovely. A card that opens twice — revealing a hidden layer beneath — is something truly special. This slim card is designed to surprise and delight at every turn.

This gorgeous slim card with its matching envelope is another project from the Paper Mixer Craft Class, available on demand through a private Stampin’ Up! Facebook page. At just 3½” × 6”, it has the elegant proportions of a boutique gift card — perfectly sized to slip inside a gift bag or stand on its own as a keepsake.

The outside already charms with its layered mix of Beautiful Ordinary Life and Paper Medley Mix-In Designer Series Paper, a butterfly accent framed in a die-cut window, and a sentiment stamped in Secret Sea ink from the Sending Salutations stamp set. But that’s just the beginning.

Step 1 — Open the card

A Garden of Butterflies

When the recipient opens the card, they’re greeted by a stunning interior: soft watercolor botanical leaves on one side, and a glowing golden-yellow panel on the other, alive with delicate stamped butterflies in the same Sending Salutations stamp set.
