My card for today isn't really a New Years card, but it is a celebration card.
This card was made using the new Wildflower Birthday Suite, which will be available to purchase starting on January 7, 2025 from the new January-May 2025 Mini Catalog.
The card starts with a Thick Basic White cardstock card base.
The top panel is from the Wildflower Birthday Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) #164591. The Wildflower Birthday Specialty DSP includes 10 sheets of double-sided designs and 2 sheets of die-cuts. All the sheets have gold foil accents.
The cake is one of the die-cuts from the Wildflower Birthday Specialty DSP. A piece of Gold 1 1/2" Open Weave Trim #165715 was adhered to the back of the cake.
The flowers on the cake are from the Wildflower Birthday Specialty DSP die-cut sheet.
The sentiment is from the Wanted To Say dies and has been cut out using Gold Foil and Pool Party cardstock. The Gold Foil had adhesive sheet applied to the backside of the Foil prior to cutting it out.
Drusy Adhesive-Backed Embellishments were adhered randomly to the card front for accent.
The inside of the card has a Pool Party cardstock panel adhered to the Basic White card base followed by a Basic White cardstock panel on top.
The sentiment has been stamped in Pool Party ink using one of the Happiest Day stamps.
The cupcake in the lower right corner of the card is a die-cut from the Wildflower Birthday Specialty DSP.
The Birthday Celebrations stamp set #164592 and die set #164598 can be purchased separately, or as a bundle #164599 or with the entire Wildflower Birthday Suite #164604, which includes the Birthday Celebrations stamp set and dies, Party Dots, Gold 1 1/2" Open Weave Trim and the Wildflower Birthday Specialty DSP. All of these items will be available for purchase starting on January 7, 2025.
