Potions and Spells Treat Box

It's hard to believe Fall is just around the corner and all the festivities that go along with it!

The treat box was made using the Potions and Spells Online Exclusive Bundle.

This bundle also coordinates with products in the just released Scrapbooking Brochure.

The Basic Black cardstock cauldron is attached onto a 2 3/8" square treat box.  The back of the treat box is 4 1/4" high.

The "potion" and "bubbles" were made using Old Olive Glimmer Specialty Paper and the dies from the Potion and Spells dies.

The cat from the Potion and Spells stamp set was stamped in VersaMark ink onto Basic White cardstock and then heat embossed using the WOW! Black Embossing Powder.  Once embossed, it was colored using Basic Black Stampin' Blends. The eyes were colored using a Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends. It was cut out using the coordinating Potions and Spells die.

The raven has been stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink and then colored using Basic Black Stampin' Blends. The beak was colored using a Smoky Slate Stampin' Blends.  The eyes were colored using a Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends. Once colored, it was cut out using the coordinating Potions and Spells die.

The raven stands out away from the back of the box. To make it stand out, a small box was made by cutting a piece of Basic Black cardstock 1/4" x 1 3/4", and then scoring at 1/4", 3/4", 1", 1 1/2".  Next, fold along the fold lines, overlap and adhere the two ends on top on each other. The box was adhered to the raven, then the box was adhered onto the back panel.  The photo below shows the box the raven is adhered to.
The books from the Potions and Spells stamp set and were stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink onto Basic White cardstock.  Then they were colored using Pumpkin Pie, Blackberry Bliss and Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends and adhered to the box front using Stampin' Dimensionals.

I don't know if you can see it in the picture or not, but I did try to heat emboss a sentiment on the front of the cauldron using Granny Apple Green ink and WOW! Clear Embossing Powder but it did not work as I had hoped.😜
