Christmas in July Blog Hop!

Welcome to the Team Stamp It Groups Christmas in July Blog Hop!

Whether you hopped onto my blog from one of my teammates or started with my blog, I'm awfully glad you "hopped" by.
This card was made using the Sophisticated Sled Bundle along with the
Snowflake Sky 3D embossing folder.

The card starts with a Misty Moonlight card base, then a Basic White cardstock panel.  The top panel was made by adding Misty Moonlight ink onto the recessed or negative side of the Snowflake Sky 3D embossing folder, once the ink is on the inside of the embossing folder, add a piece of Basic White cardstock and then run it through your Stampin' Cut and Emboss machine. That's it, very easy, but the results are so beautiful. A touch of Wink of Stella was added to the larger embossed snowflakes.

White Glimmer Specialty Paper and Basic White cardstock along with the ripple die from the Beach Day die set were used to make the snow.

The Sophisticated Sled bundle was used to make the sled.  The "wood" top of the sled is from the Country Woods Designer Series Paper (DSP). Cherry Cobbler cardstock was used to make the sled frame.

Basic White, Real Red and Silver Foil cardstock were used to make the ice skates.

Old Olive and Mossy Meadow cardstock were used to make the greenery on top of the sled. Cherry Cobbler and Pearl Adhesive-Backed Berries were added for accent.  The Real Red bow was made using White Bakers Twine and coloring it using a Dark Real Red Stampin' Blend.

The sentiment is from the Greetings of the Season stamp set and has been stamped in Real Red ink.

Adhesive-Backed Snowflakes were added randomly for accent.

Here's a look at the inside of the card.

The sentiment is from the Sophisticated Sled stamp set and has been stamped in Real Red ink.  The snowflakes are also from the Sophisticated Sled stamp set and have been stamped in Misty Moonlight ink.

I hope you enjoyed looking at my card today, if you leave a comment on my blog, and include your name and #stampitcontest in your comment, your name will be entered into a drawing to win the Birthday Sparkle Kit.
