Valentine's Day Blog Hop

Welcome to the Team Stamp It Groups Valentine's Day Theme Blog Hop!

Whether you hopped onto my blog from one of my teammates or started with my blog, I'm awfully glad you "hopped" by.
This beautiful Valentine's card was made using the gorgeous Most Adored Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) and the Adoring Hearts Hybrid
Embossing Folder.

The Most Adored Specialty DSP is one of the FREE Sale-A-Bration offerings when you purchase $50 of Stampin' Up! product.

The card starts with a Thick Basic White cardstock card base, followed by a Real Red cardstock panel and then topped with a Most Adored Specialty DSP panel.

The Gold Foil hearts and the ornate Real Red hearts were cut out using dies that are part of the Adoring Hearts Hybrid Embossing Folder.

I found the best way to adhere the ornate hearts is to add Adhesive Sheet to the back of the Real Red cardstock before you cut out the ornate heart.  This way you don't have to mess with trying to not get glue where you did not want it to go on the tiny details of the heart.

If you are not familiar with the Hybrid Embossing Folders, they are an embossing folder that is made to be used at the same time as you are using the
coordinating dies. The embossing folders and coordinating dies can also be
used separately.  On this card, the dies were used separately.

The sentiment is from the Country Bouquet stamp set and has been stamped in Real Red ink onto Basic White cardstock.  A Real Red panel cut slightly larger than the sentiment panel was adhered behind the sentiment panel.

The inside of the card has the Thick Basic White card base followed by a Real Red cardstock panel and then topped with a Basic White cardstock panel.

The sentiment is from the Country Bouquet stamp set and has been stamped in Real Red ink.

The Real Red cardstock heart next to the sentiment was cut out using one of the Adoring Hearts Hybrid Embossing folder dies, as was the ornate heart in the lower right hand corner of the card.

I hope you enjoyed looking at my project today, if you leave a comment on my blog, and include your name and #stampitcontest in your comment, your name will be entered into a drawing to win the Confetti Birthday Card Kit.
Congratulations to last months winner...
