Light my Way

This was such a fun card to make!

The card starts with a Thick Basic White cardstock card base, followed by a Night of Navy cardstock panel, next a Crushed Curry cardstock panel and finally a Basic White cardstock panel.

Using a Blending Brush, the Basic White cardstock panel had Crushed Curry ink added to the center of the card and Night of Navy ink was added to the outside edges of the card.

The lantern is from the Lighting The Way dies and has been cut out using Basic Black cardstock and adhered onto the card using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

The swirls are from the Lighting the Way stamp set and have been stamped in VersaMark ink and then heat embossed using Silver Embossing Powder.

The fireflies are from the Lighting the Way stamp set and were stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink, the bottom part of the firefly was colored using a Dark Mango Melody Stampin' Blends. To give the fireflies a little bit of a sparkle, they were colored over using Wink of Stella Glitter Brush.

The glow around the fireflies was made by stamping a piece of Vellum in Crushed Curry ink and then heat embossing it using Clear Embossing Powder. Once embossed the Vellum was then cut out in a small circle shape using Snips.

The small Crushed Curry Vellum circle was adhered onto the card front using Mini Glue Dots.  The fireflies were adhered on top of the Crushed Curry Vellum circles using Mini Glue Dots.

The sentiment is from the Lighting the Way stamp set and has been stamped in VersaMark ink and then heat embossed using Gold Embossing Powder.

Small Daffodil Delight Glossy Dots Assortment were added to the card front to give the appearance of additional fireflies.
The sentiment on the inside of the card is from the Lighting the Way stamp set and has been stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink.

The two smaller fireflies are from the Lighting the Way stamp set and have been stamped in Crushed Curry ink.

The larger firefly in the lower right hand corner of the card has been stamped in VersaMark ink and then heat embossed using Black Embossing Powder.  Once embossed the bottom of the firefly was colored using a Mango Melody Stampin' Blend.
