I love the This Birthday Piggy stamp set. Every time I look at the cards made with this stamp set I think of the Geico commercial where the pig has its head out the car window with a pinwheel saying "Whhheeee!"
Currently, only the This Birthday Piggy stamp set #159107 is in the 2022 - 2023 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog and available to purchase. However, during the month of September, Stampin' Up! will be offering this stamp set as a bundle with the coordinating Playful Piggy dies #160254. The dies and stamp set will be available to purchase separately or as a bundle. If you would like to purchase this set as the This Birthday Piggy bundle the order number is #162521. These dies will be available only for the month of September or while supplies last.
There are a total of six new dies that coordinate with stamp sets that are in the 2022 - 2023 Annual Catalog and the July - December 2022 Mini Catalog.
This card starts with a Thick Basic White card base followed by a Tea Boutique Designer Series Paper (DSP) panel.
Balmy Blue and Old Olive ink were brushed on to the Basic White card front panel using a Blending Brush. This panel was then cut out using the Deckled Rectangles dies.
The piggy was stamped onto Basic White cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento ink and then colored using Ivory and Flirty Flamingo Stampin'' Blends. Once colored it was cut out using the coordinating Playful Piggy die.
The wagon was cut out using the wagon die from the Playful Piggy dies and Cherry Cobbler cardstock. The wheels and pull handle were cut out using Basic Black cardstock. Metallic Pearls were used in the center of the wheels.
The flowers are also from the Playful Piggy dies. Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels were placed in the center of the flowers. The Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels have been retired.
