This is not going to be one of my usual posts, but I had to share! I have been trying to grow a “garden” since we moved to Ketchikan over thirty years ago. But with no success. We just get too much rain. The average annual rainfall for Ketchikan is between 140 and 160 inches per year.
About three years ago, I bought a couple of deck sized greenhouses, but still no luck with growing a garden, except for this year!!! All the stars and planets must have aligned because I am growing a garden!! YES!!! A GARDEN!!
I am so excited check out my first tomato!!
While it is not a huge tomato, it was a very delicious tomato and look in the background you can see that there are more coming!! Plus I have zucchini’s and lemon cucumbers that are also growing! I am one happy girl!!
