Hard to believe it is the end of the school year already. We have six seniors from our local high school who are graduating this year. The high school colors and maroon and white.
This card begins with a Blackberry Bliss card base, while it is not maroon it is really close and will work fine.
The next two layers or panels are Basic White and Blackberry Bliss cardstock. The Blackberry Bliss panel has the graduation caps stamped randomly on it using Blackberry Bliss ink.
The top two panels are Crushed Curry and Basic White cardstock. The stamp set I used for this card is one that retired several years ago and is called Pure Gumption.
The sentiment has been stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink, as has the graduation cap. The graduation cap has been colored using a Dark Blackberry Bliss Stampin' Blends. The cap was fussy cut and then adhered onto the card front using a Stampin' Dimensional.
The "diploma" is a 1 1/2" x 3" piece of copy paper that was rolled into a cylinder and then tied with a small piece of ribbon. The ribbon I used was another color than what I needed, so I used my Dark Blackberry Bliss Stampin' Blends to color the middle fabric and left the gold edging.
The sentiment on the inside of the card is also from the Pure Gumption stamp set and has been stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink onto Basic White cardstock.
The graduation cap was also stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink and then colored using the Dark Blackberry Bliss Stampin' Blend.
A Crushed Curry panel was adhered onto the back of the Basic White panel and then adhered onto the inside of the card.
