You're So Cool

Another fun card for my Grandson this time using the Sweet Ice Cream stamp set along with the coordinating Ice Cream Cone Punch.
This stamp set along with the coordinating punch is available in the new 2021-2022 Annual Catalog, it is a carry-over from the January - June 2021 Mini Catalog.

The Ice Cream Corner Designer Series Paper(DSP) and Sprinkles were part of the retired Ice Cream Corner Suite.

After the ice cream cones were adhered onto the card front, the center of the ice cream was punched out using a 1" Circle punch.

Window Sheet was adhered to the back of the card front to cover over the holes in the ice cream.

Foam Adhesive Strips were used around the top of the "ice cream cones" to hold in the sprinkles in place.  Once the sprinkles were added the front panel was adhered onto the card base.

The sentiments on the front and inside of the card are from the Sweet Ice Cream stamp set.  The ice cream cone was fussy cut from the Ice Cream Corner DSP and then adhered onto the inside of the card.  To complete the card, sprinkles were randomly added to the ice cream cone.

Only a couple more days left on the Designer Series Paper Sale.  The last day to take advantage of this sale is August 2, 2021.

Stellar Spinner Card

I am so excited to share with you this card!  I am so happy with how it turned out, it is so stinking cute.
The card was made using the Stellar Birthday stamp set along with the Layering Diorama and the Give it a Whirl dies. It was inspired by a card I saw on YouTube that was made by Diana Gibbs.

The Basic White card front was colored using a Stampin' Blending Brush, Misty Moonlight, Bumblebee, Night of Navy, and Gorgeous Grape ink.  Once colored, the stars and planets stamps from the Stellar Birthday stamp set were randomly stamped all over the front using VersaMark ink and then heat embossed using Gold Emboss Powder.  The center was cut out using the third to the largest Layering Diorama die.

Expressions in Ink Designer Series Paper (DSP) was used for the next two layers.  A tip that Diana Gibbs gave was to back the DSP with Basic White cardstock to give it some strength and help keep the card from bowing. The center of these two layers were cut out using the third and fourth from the smallest Layering Diorama dies.

The Misty Moonlight back layer was stamped using Whisper White Craft ink and the To The Moon and Stellar Birthday stamp sets.

The boy, girl, dog, rocket ship and planets from the Stellar Birthday stamp set were all stamped onto Basic White cardstock, colored with Stampin' Blends and then fussy cut.  The stars are from the Give it a Whirl die set and have been cut out using Rainbow Glimmer Paper and the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine.

The sentiment is from the Stellar Birthday stamp set.

Looking at the card from the top, you can see all the layers.

What makes this card so fun is, it is a spinner card.  The spinner mechanism was cut out using a piece of Window Sheet and one of the dies in the Give it a Whirl die set.  It was attached to the third from the front layer using a brad.

Check out this video of the spinner in action.

From this view you can see the Window Sheet spinner.

This card will also lay flat for mailing, but will take a larger sized envelope.

Counting Sheep

The Counting Sheep stamp set is one of the free stamp sets that will be available on August 3, 2021 as part of the Sale-A-Bration promotion. Coordinating Sheep dies will also be available as part of the Sale-A-Bration product offerings.
The Granny Apple Green grass and the Balmy Blue sky were applied to the Basic White card front panel using a Blending Brush.  Once colored the "grass sprigs" were stamped using Garden Green ink.  The sky has dabs of Highland Heather ink added randomly.

The sheep were stamped onto Basic White cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento ink.  They were then colored using Light Smoky Slate Stampin' Blends on the legs and face.  Dark Smoky Slate was used on the hooves.  Smoky Slate ink was added to the Sheep using a Sponge Dauber.

The fence, balloon and clouds are all part of the coordinating Sheep dies and were cut out using the Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine and Basic White cardstock.  The sun was cut out using the Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine along with Rainbow Glimmer paper.  The balloon was colored with Dark and Light Real Red Stampin' Blends.

The fence was adhered to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  The sheep and sun were adhered to the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals.  The clouds and balloon were adhered with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

The front panel was adhered onto the Basic White card base using Stampin' Seal.
The sentiment on the inside of the card is from the Counting Sheep stamp set and has been stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink.  The sheep and balloon were also stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink.  The balloon was colored using a Dark and Light Real Red Stampin' Blends.
Here's a look at the completed card along with the coordinating envelope.  I think my grandson is going to love this card.
