Freezin' Fun Twist Card - day 7

When I saw the Freezin' Fun stamp set with its coordinating Freezin' Friends dies, my thoughts immediately went to winter, snow ball fights and Christmas.

I knew I had to have it.

The card was made using a Night of Navy card base.  The Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper front panel was embossed using the Evergreen Forest 3D embossing folder.  The sentiment on the card front is from the For Unto Us stamp set and was stamped in Night of Navy ink.  The penguin and snowballs were stamped onto Whisper White cardstock in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, colored using Stampin' Blends and then cut out with the Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine using the coordinating Freezin' Friends dies.
What makes this card really fun is that it is a twist card.  If you have never made a twist card before, it only looks complicated, they are actually quite easy to make.  Watch my video for complete instructions on how to make a twist card.
Thanks for stopping by and visiting my blog, stop back by tomorrow for day 8 of my 10-day Christmas series.

7 Days of Valentine Cards- Day 7

Welcome to day 7 of 7 Days of Valentine Cards. I hope you have enjoyed
my Valentine creations.  The 7 days of Valentine cards are going to be given to the Long Term Care unit of the local Hospital I work at.  I'm hoping the cards  will bring a little bit of joy into their lives.
The paper I used on these cards is from the From My Heart Suite.  Isn't the little raccoon just the cutest??  The raccoon is from the Special Someone stamp set.   This stamp set coordinates with the Special Day dies.  The Happy Valentine's Day sentiment is from the January 2020 Paper Pumpkin kit.  I used one of the Stitched Rectangle dies to cut out the front panel on both card fronts.
The raccoon stamp is a two step stamp.  For the first layer, I stamped the raccoon in Sahara Sand ink. The more detailed raccoon second stamp was stamped using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  The balloons were also a two step stamp.  I used Real Red ink for the first layer and then Tuxedo Black Memento Ink for the second more detailed layer.  After the balloons were stamped and the ink had dried, they were colored with clear Wink of Stella Glitter.
