Summer Lovin' Theme Blog Hop

Welcome to the Stamp It Groups Summer Lovin' Blog Hop.  Whether you started with my blog or "hopped" over from one of my teammates blogs, I am happy you stopped by!

This card was such a fun, quick and easy card to make.  (If you follow my posts, you know I am always about easy!)

To make the card, the Pacific Point sky and the Bermuda Bay water were watercolored onto Shimmery White cardstock (by the way, this is my new favorite cardstock).

The dock is from the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack and is adhered to the card front with dimensionals.
To make the umbrella pole, I used a piece of the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper and the Umbrella Weather Framelits Dies umbrella handle die. After it was cut out I cut off the curved handle on the one end. The umbrella pole was adhered to the card front with snail.  I used the lined umbrella stamp from the Weather Together Photopolymer Stamp set and then cut the umbrella out using the Umbrella Weather Framelits Dies.  The umbrella was slightly folded on the crease marks made from the die and adhered to the card front with a dimensional at the top and at the bottom of the umbrella to help the umbrella "pop" off the card a little.
The sentiment is stamped in Pacific Point ink and is from the Colorful Seasons Photopolymer Stamp set.
The chair is from the Seasonal Layers Thinlits Dies. The chair was adhered at the bottom with snail and at the top with small pieces of dimensionals placed in various places on the back of the chair.
The glass of lemonade is from the Colorful Seasons Photopolymer Stamp set and was adhered to the card front with a small piece of dimensional.

The sentiment on the inside of the card is also from the Colorful Seasons Photopolymer Stamp set, as are the flowers and are stamped in Pacific Point ink.
The Shimmery White cardstock was cut to 5 1/4" x 4" and adhered onto a   5 3/8" x 4 1/8" piece of Real Red cardstock.  This panel was then adhered onto an A2 size Whisper White cardstock card.

Congratulations Cheri Furr!
