Butterfly Thank You card

This card was inspired by a card that was made by Cathy Hurd.

The blue tone paper is from the Waves of the Ocean Designer Series Paper(DSP).

The rectangle has been cut out using the Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine along with one of the Stitched Rectangle dies.

The front panel was embossed using the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing folder, which is on sale right now.  The front panel was adhered onto the Thick Basic White card base using Stampin' Dimensionals.

The flower is from the Meadow Dies, as is the butterfly.  The butterfly has been cut out using the Blue Foils Specialty Paper.

The sentiment is from the Happy & Heartfelt Stamp set and has been stamped in Night of Navy ink.
The Basic White cardstock flower on the inside of the card is from the Honeybee Blooms dies.  When cutting out the delicate or intricate dies, I like to back the cardstock with Adhesive Sheet, this makes the die-cut much easier to adhere onto the card and isn't as messy as sometimes liquid glue can be.

I hope you have enjoyed looking at my card and have been inspired to try some of my ideas on your own.  If you are looking for a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, I would love it if you chose me as your demonstrator!  When you place an order in my online store you can earn Stampin’ Rewards that can be used for free and discounted products, or used toward your Starter Kit, if you are interested in becoming a Stampin' Up! demonstrator

Birthday card for my Grandson

My grandson celebrated his 8th Birthday recently and this is the card that I made for him.  His birthday party theme was Ryan's World and this card was made with that in mind.

When I was making the card for him I asked him what his favorite color was, on that day his favorite color was gold.  The card base I used was the best I could come up with for gold.  These card bases were sold as a set in the Holiday catalog along with coordinating envelopes and have since been retired.

The Real Red panel has been embossed with the Tasteful Textiles 3D Embossing Folder.

The "8" was cut out using the Large Numbers Framelits, which is retired, and Rainbow Glimmer paper.

The sun in the Ryan's World banner was colored using the Wink of Stella glitter brush.

The Ryan and the Ryan's World banner were found on the internet.
The picture of the inside of the card is not the best quality, I had forgotten to take a picture of the card until I got to the birthday party.

The sentiment has been stamped in Real Red ink and is from the retired Bonanza Buddies stamp set.
