Valentine's Day Blog Hop

Welcome to the Team Stamp It Groups Valentine's Day Blog Hop!

Whether you hopped onto my blog from one of my teammates or started with my blog, I'm awfully glad you "hopped" by.

This beautiful Valentine's Day Shaker card was made using three of the new Stampin' Up! dies.

The card starts with a Basic White cardstock card base, followed by a Flirty Flamingo Two-Tone cardstock panel.

The next panel is from the Made with Love Designer Series Paper (DSP).

The center of the Basic White cardstock top panel was cut out using the second to the largest Beautifully Celebrated dies.

The Basic White cardstock filigree pieces were cut out using one of the Delicate Framing dies.

The Basic White cardstock heart is from the Endless Love dies.

The sentiment is from the Greetings For All Mix & Match Ephemera Pack.

Loose Valentine's Assortment mixed with some of the floral shaker bits from Day 10 of the 12 Days of Crafting Advent Calendar were used to make the "shaker" embellishments for the card.

To make the "shaker" part of the card, a piece of Window Sheet was adhered to the back-side of the front panel.

Next, Adhesive Foam Strips were adhered to the Window Sheet area where I wanted the shaker embellishments to be. Stampin' Dimensionals were added along the rest of the back of the front panel, in the corners and bigger open spaces.

About a teaspoon of shaker embellishments were added to the center of the Made with Love DSP panel. Once the embellishments were added, the front panel was centered and adhered onto the card front.

The Endless Love heart was adhered onto the Window Sheet.

The Happy Valentine's Day sentiment was adhered to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals.

Pearlized Faceted Circles were added to the card front.

For the inside of the card, Flirty Flamingo Two-Tone cardstock was adhered to the card base, followed by a Basic White cardstock panel.

The heart cluster from the Endless Love stamp set was stamped in Flirty Flamingo ink.
