Nutcracker Tags Kit Alternative #4

I thought I would shake it up a little bit and make my own front panel for this card using the Metallic Textures Rub-Ons.

The card starts with a Shaded Spruce cardstock card base, followed by a Garden Green cardstock panel.  The Garden Green panel has been embellished using the Metallic Textures Rub-Ons.

The Metallic Textures Rub-Ons are so easy to use, you just place them on your paper, rub (I usually rub them on with my Bone Folder) and you have instant embellishments. The designs include a swatch, splatter, brushstroke and foliage in both gold and silver.  As you can see from my card above, the Rub-Ons add interest to your cards or scrapbook pages without adding bulk or weight.

The Nutcracker Tags Kit features festive nutcrackers and glittery sentiments. The kit makes it easy to create handmade tags bursting with festive spirit.

While the Nutcracker Tags Kit is intended to make Christmas tags, as you can see they can easily become glittery and festive Christmas cards too!

Cherry Cobbler Traditional Sparkling Sequins were added to the berries on the holly.  Gold Traditional Sparkling Sequins were added around the card for accent.

The kit comes with everything you need, including the adhesives and the precut images.

For the inside of the card, a Shaded Spruce cardstock panel was added to the card base followed by a Basic White panel.

The sentiment is from the Jolly Holly stamp set and has been stamped in Shaded Spruce ink.

The candy canes are a precut image from the Christmas Tags and More Mix and Match Specialty Designer Series Paper.
