Darling Dinos 5th Birthday Card

This card turned out sooo cute for a little dino lover who is turning "5" this month!

This card was inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest that was made by The Little Greenhouse Creates.

This card is called a Diagonal Tri-Fold card and was made using the Darling Dinos stamp set along with the coordinating dies.

The card starts with a Real Red cardstock card base, followed by Dinosaur Designer Series Paper (DSP) panels unfortunately this DSP has been retired.

For the card front the "5" was cut out using the Playful Alphabet dies, which is retired.

The Dino is from the Darling Dinos stamp set and has been stamped onto Basic White cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento ink, colored with Stampin' Blends and then cut out using the coordinating Darling Dinos die. The Dino was adhered onto the card front using a Wobbles Mini Action Spring.

The "cake" is a cupcake from the Birthday Treats Mix and Match Ephemera Pack as are the candles on top of the cake. The candles were colored using Stampin' Blends.

The sentiment is from the Darling Dinos stamp set and has been stamped in Real Red ink onto Basic White cardstock.

Cherry Cobbler Faceted Snowflakes were adhered randomly.
For the middle panel, the dinosaur, the rocks and the leaves are all from the Darling Dinos stamp set, have been stamped onto Basic White cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento ink and then colored using Stampin' Blends.

The spots on the egg were stamped onto the egg using Smoky Slate ink and one of the stamps from the Darling Dinos stamp set.

The Dino and egg were adhered using Stampin' Dimensionals.

The sentiment has been stamped in Real Red ink directly onto the Dinosaur DSP. After doing this I realized the sentiment was a little hard to read, so I outlined some of the sentiment letters using a Black 0.4MM Stampin' Journaling Pen.

A couple Cherry Cobbler Faceted Snowflakes were added to this panel also.
The third and final panel has a pterodactyl that had been cut out from the Dinosaur DSP which was adhered using Stampin' Dimensionals.

The triceratops is from the Darling Dinos stamp set and has been stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink onto Basic White cardstock and colored with Stampin' Blends.  Once colored it was cut out using the coordinating Darling Dinos die.

The balloons and the hearts in the center of the balloons are from the Darling Dinos stamp set.  They were colored with Stampin' Blends and then cut out using the coordinating Darling Dinos dies.

The balloon with the "5" in the middle was added using a fine tip Sharpie.

The sentiment is from the Darling Dinos stamp set, it has been stamped in Real Red ink onto Basic White cardstock and then fussy cut. A Real Red cardstock scrap was placed behind the fussy cut sentiment and was also fussy cut.

A couple Cherry Cobbler Faceted Snowflakes were added to this panel too.
Here's a look at the completed card from a different angle.
And a look at the card with a coordinating envelope.
I hope you enjoyed my card for today!
