Mother's Day Blog Hop

Welcome to the Team Stamp It Groups Mother's Day Theme Blog Hop!

Whether you hopped onto my blog from one of my teammates or started with my blog, I'm awfully glad you "hopped" by.

For today's blog hop, I have made a charming Mother's Day card using the Lovely Garden Designer Series Paper.

I had so much fun creating this beautiful handmade card, and I’m excited to share the details with you!

Layering for a Stunning Look

This card starts with a Basic White cardstock base, giving it a clean and classic foundation. On top of that, I added a Boho Blue cardstock panel, followed by a gorgeous layer of Lovely Garden Designer Series Paper (DSP) for a soft, elegant touch.

To create the focal point, I used the Textured Notes dies to cut out both the Boho Blue cardstock center panel and the Basic White top panel, adding dimension and texture.

Fussy Cutting for Extra Charm

The delicate flowers? They’re from the Lovely Garden DSP, and I carefully fussy cut them to make them pop off the card. It’s a little extra effort, but the results are so worth it!

Sentiment & Embellishments

For the sentiment, I used the Flower Cart stamp set, stamping in bold Melon Mambo ink onto Basic White cardstock. After stamping, I cut it out using the Mixed Labels dies, giving it a crisp, polished look.

No card is complete without a little sparkle! I added 2024-2026 In Color Shimmer Gems for the perfect finishing touch.

A Thoughtful Inside Design

The inside of the card mirrors the beauty of the front. I cut Boho Blue cardstock using the Textured Notes dies and layered it onto the card base. Then, I added a Basic White cardstock panel to make space for a heartfelt message.

And as a little surprise inside, I stamped a delicate butterfly from the Beautiful Butterflies stamp set in Melon Mambo ink—a sweet detail to tie it all together!
