Sail Away Father's Day

The retired Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper (DSP) was used to make this card.

The card starts with a Basic White cardstock card base, followed by a Night of Navy cardstock panel and then topped with the Come Sail Away DSP.

The compass is also from the Come Sail Away DSP and was cut out using the largest Stylish Shapes circle die.

The sailboat was stamped using the Sunrise Sailing stamp set in Navy Blue ink on Boho Blue cardstock. The sailboat was adhered onto the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals.

The sentiment is from the Trusty Tools stamp set and has been heat embossed using VersaMark ink and WOW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder.

For the inside of the card, a Night of Navy cardstock panel was adhered onto the card base, followed by a Basic White cardstock panel.

The sentiment is from the retired Well Said stamp set and has been stamped in Night of Navy ink.

The sailboat and the water are from the Sunrise Sailing stamp set and have been stamped in Night of Navy ink.

Sunrise Journey Father's Day

This card was made using the Thoughtful Journey DSP, which is such a gorgeous paper that there really isn't a need to do anything else to it. The DSP was embossed using the Sunrise Sailing Hybrid Embossing Folder.

The embossed Thoughtful Journey Designer Series Paper (DSP) was adhered onto a Pretty Peacock cardstock panel and then adhered onto a Basic White cardstock card base.

The sailboat outline was stamped in Pretty Peacock ink onto a piece of Basic White cardstock. Pretty Peacock ink was stamped on the sails and on the boat hull. Pecan Pie Stampin' Blends was also used on the boat hull. The sailboat was cut out using the Sunrise Sailing dies and adhered onto the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals.

The sentiment is from the Trusty Tools stamp set and has been stamped onto a scrap piece of the Thoughtful Journey DSP in Pretty Peacock ink.

For the inside of the card, a Pretty Peacock cardstock panel was adhered onto the card base, followed by a Basic White cardstock panel.

The sentiment is from the retired Well Said stamp set and has been stamped in Pretty Peacock ink.

The sailboat and the water are from the Sunrise Sailing stamp set and have been stamped in Pretty Peacock ink.

Calm and Stormy Seas Father's Day

These two cards were made using the Sunrise Sailing Bundle.

The first card has a Basic White cardstock card base, followed by an Azure Afternoon cardstock panel.

Azure Afternoon ink was applied to the bottom third of the Pool Party cardstock top panel using a Blending Brush. The ripple was stamped in Azure Afternoon ink.

The top panel was embossed using the Sunset Sailing Hybrid Embossing Folder to complete the background for the card.

The sailboat outline was stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink onto a piece of Basic White cardstock. Cherry Cobbler ink was stamped on the sails. Pecan Pie ink was used on the boat hull. The sailboat was cut out using the Sunrise Sailing dies and adhered onto the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals.

The seagulls were cut out using Basic Black cardstock. Because the seagulls are kind of small, Adhesive Sheet was adhered onto the back of the Basic Black cardstock before cutting the seagulls out to make it easier for me to manipulate them.

The Basic White cardstock clouds were cut out using the Sunrise Sailing dies.

The sentiment is from the Beside Me stamp set and has been stamped directly onto the card front using Azure Afternoon ink.

For the inside of the card, a Azure Afternoon cardstock panel was adhered onto the card base, followed by a Basic White cardstock panel.

The sentiment is from the retired Well Said stamp set and has been stamped in Azure Afternoon ink.

The sailboat and the water are from the Sunrise Sailing stamp set and have been stamped in Azure Afternoon ink.

The second card was made as described above, however, the clouds were colored using Blending Brush and Smoky Slate ink. Once colored, a Smoky Slate Stampin' Blends was used to outline the embossed clouds.

The Basic White cardstock clouds were also slightly colored using Smoky Slate ink and a Blending Brush.

The inside of the card was made exactly the same as the inside of the first card.
