Nutcracker Tags Kit Alternative

This card was made using the Nutcracker Tags All-Inclusive Kit along with the Christmas Greetings Mix and Match Specialty Cards and Envelopes.

The Nutcracker Tags Kit features festive nutcrackers and glittery sentiments. The kit makes it easy to create handmade tags bursting with festive spirit.

While the Nutcracker Tags Kit is intended to make Christmas tags, as you can see they can easily become glittery and festive Christmas cards too!

Cherry Cobbler Traditional Sparkling Sequins were added to the berries on the holly and around the card for accent.

The kit comes with everything you need, including the adhesives and the precut images.

The only things added to the card front that were not included in the kit were the Christmas Greetings card base and the Traditional Sparkling Sequins.

For the inside of the card, a Cherry Cobbler cardstock panel was added to the card base followed by a Basic White panel.

The sentiment is from the Words For The Season stamp set and has been stamped in Real Red ink.

The holly branch is a precut image from the Christmas Tags and More Mix and Match Specialty Designer Series Paper.

Traditions of Christmas Virtual Card Class

Recently I attended the Traditions of Christmas Virtual Craft Class offered through Stampin' Up! and thought I would share the beautiful cards we made with you.

The Virtual Craft classes are craft-along classes taught by experienced instructors.

Gingerbread Man

Check out this adorable Gingerbread Man card!

This card uses the new Christmas Greetings Mix and Match Specialty Cards and Envelopes. What's neat about these cards with matching envelopes is they feature a plaid design with gold foil, making them perfect for the Christmas season or any other occasion.

The Gingerbread Man stamp set and coordinating dies were used to make this card. The gingerbread man was stamped in VersaMark ink and then heat embossed using WOW! White Embossing Powder. Once embossed, the gingerbread man was cut out using the coordinating die.

The arch behind the gingerbread man is from the Everyday Arches die set and has been cut out using Garden Green and Basic White cardstock. The idea of having the gingerbread man coming out of the frame was inspired from a card on Pinterest that was made by Hero Arts.

The cookies, cookie sheet and oven mitts are from the Homemade Treats stamp set and coordinating dies. The gingerbread man cookies were stamped in Pecan Pie ink onto Basic White cardstock. The cookie sheet is made using Silver Foil cardstock. The oven mitt was stamped in Real Red ink onto Basic White cardstock.

The sentiment is from the Gingerbread Man stamp set and has been stamped in Real Red ink onto Basic White cardstock.

Red and White Adhesive-Backed Peppermints were randomly added to the card front for accent.

For the inside of the card, Garden Green Two-Tone cardstock was adhered to the card base, followed by a Basic White cardstock panel.

The sentiment is from the Words for the Season stamp set and has been stamped in Garden Green ink.

The little gingerbread man in the corner is from the Homemade Treats stamp set and has been stamped in Pecan Pie ink.
