Darling Dancer 3rd Birthday Card

This card turned out sooo cute for a little dancer I know who is turning "3" this month that I had to post it!

Most of the products used to make this card were either not Stampin' Up! products or were a retired Stampin' Up! product.

An Embossed Designs Mix and Match Specialty Card was used for the card base.

The sentiment is from the retired Wanted to Say dies.

The "3" was cut out using one of the retired Playful Alphabet dies.

The "sunburst" was made using the retired Blossom punch.

The stamp used for the dancing girl was called Heart Dance and is a Penny Black stamp. The little dancer was stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink onto Basic White cardstock, colored using Stampin' Blends and then cut out using the coordinating die. The dancer was mounted onto the card front using a wobbler.

Clear Faceted Snowflakes were added for accent.

The center of the card has a ballerina framed in an arch from the Everyday Arches Dies. The ballerina twirls and has been adhered to the top and bottom of the arch using clear sewing thread.

The ballerina is from Sparkle and Sass and is called Ballerina Fairy. The ballerina was stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink onto Basic White cardstock, colored using Stampin' Blends and then cut out using the coordinating die.

Small Drusy Adhesive-Backed Embellishments were added to the ballerina's dress to give it some glimmer.

Retired Bee Mine Designer Series Paper (DSP) was used for the background.

On the back pages of the card, retired Bee Mine DSP was used for the background.

The stamp is called Fairy Birthday and is from Penny Black. The fairy was stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink onto Basic White cardstock, colored with Stampin' Blends and then fussy cut. The fairy was adhered to the card using a Wobbler.

Wink of Stella was added to the fairy wings and dress to give them some shimmer.

The sentiment is from the Fairy Birthday stamp set.

Clear Faceted Snowflakes were added for accent.

Road To Christmas Kit

Have you seen the Road to Christmas Kit??!!

It has got to be one of the cutest kits I've seen and it is an All-Inclusive Kit, which means everything you need to make the cards is included.

Or should I say, everything is included to make the cards, if you choose to make the cards as outlined in the step-by-step instructions.

For this kit, I chose differently....

These last two cards were made as suggested in the kit instructions.

This was a really fun kit to work with.

I did not add anything extra to the cards that wasn't already included in the kit. The kit came with lots of extra dogs, packages/presents and trees, I just rearranged where things went.

Nutcracker Tags Kit Alternative #6

This set of cards are the last in the Nutcracker Tags Kit Alternative Series.

This first card starts with a Granny Apple Green cardstock card base.

The plaid panel is from the Joyful Days Memories and More Card Pack.

Old Olive Traditional Sparkling Sequins were randomly added and Cherry Cobbler Traditional Sparkling Sequins were used on the holly berries.

The sentiment is from the Words For The Season stamp set and has been stamped in Granny Apple Green ink.

The plaid banner is from the Joyful Days Memories and More Card Pack and has been backed with a Granny Apple Green cardstock panel prior to adhering it to the card.

The card base this card was made using Garden Green cardstock.

One of the sheets from the Christmas Tags and More Specialty Designer Series Paper was used for the top panel.

Gold Traditional Sparkling Sequins were randomly added and Cherry Cobbler Traditional Sparkling Sequins were used on the holly berries.

The sentiment is from the Words For The Season stamp set and has been stamped in Garden Green ink.

The mistletoe is a precut image from the Christmas Tags and More Mix and Match Specialty Designer Series Paper.

Shaded Spruce cardstock was used to make this card base.

Elegant Pine Snowflakes Designer Series Paper was used for the top panel.

Cherry Cobbler Traditional Sparkling Sequins were used on the holly berries and placed randomly around the card front.

The sentiment is from the Jolly Holly stamp set and has been stamped in Shaded Spruce ink.
