Afternoon Visitor

We had a visitor come by our house the other afternoon.

Even though I live in Alaska and bears are very common here. It is not common for me to see bear in my neighborhood. So when this huge bruin made its way down my driveway it really caught my attention.

It was a beautiful black bear with a thick, shiny coat and did I say Huge??!!

Anyway, thought it would be fun to share this with you all.

Apple Harvest Series #3

This card starts with a Thick Basic White cardstock base. The upper third of the card base has been randomly stamped with Real Red ink using one of the flower stamps and the trellis-like stamp from the Apple Harvest stamp set.

The next layer is Real Red cardstock that has been cut to 4 1/8" x 4 1/2" and then stamped randomly with Real Red ink using one of the larger stamps from the Apple Harvest stamp set.

Next is another layer of Real Red cardstock with a Basic White cardstock panel on top of it.

The apple branch was stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink then colored using Stampin' Blends.

The sentiment on the front is from the Go To Greetings stamp set and has been stamped in Real Red ink onto the Basic White cardstock panel.

Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels were placed randomly on the card front.

Here's a peek at the inside of the card.

The apple in the lower right hand corner of the card is also from the Apple Harvest stamp set and has been stamped in Tuxedo Black ink. Once stamped, it was colored using Stampin' Blends.

Apple Harvest Series #2

This card starts with a Basic White Thick cardstock base.

The next layer is Cherry Cobbler cardstock followed by Basic White cardstock panel that has been die cut using the Dots and Spots die. The Dots and Spots die is one of the items that has been added to the More to Sale-A-Brate promotion. You can receive the Dots and Spots die for FREE with a qualifying order.

A strip of Celebrate Everything Designer Series Paper (DSP) was adhered off-center onto the top of the Dots and Spots panel. The Celebrate Everything DSP is a host product that is only available with Stampin' Rewards.

Earning rewards is easy and fun! Just place an order that meets the Stampin’ Rewards qualifications: You can shop for yourself and others or host a party.

The apple branch was stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink onto Basic White cardstock and then colored using Stampin' Blends. Once it was colored, the approximately 2 3/4" smooth edge Laying Circle die was used to cut it out. The approximately 3" scalloped Layering Circle die was used to cut out the Cherry Cobbler panel behind the apple panel.

The sentiment on the front is from the Apple Harvest stamp set and has been stamped in Real Red ink onto Basic White cardstock. A piece of Cherry Cobbler cardstock was adhered onto the back of the sentiment panel.
