Along with a new year comes a new Mini Catalog.
This card was made using the new Sweet Talk Suite that is featured on page 8-9 of the January - June 2022 Mini Catalog and begins a 25-day countdown of Valentine's Day cards.
The Thick Basic White card base has a Real Red cardstock panel followed by a Basic White front panel.
The Basic White front panel has been embossed using the Bouquet of Love Hybrid Embossing Folder which is found on page 11 of the Mini Catalog. The Bouquet of Love Hybrid Embossing Folder is a full-sized embossing folder. In order to only emboss in a select area of the front panel, I used a 1" wide piece of cardboard that was cut to the length of the card, in this case 3 3/4". For the embossing machine "sandwich", on the bottom the base plate, followed by the embossing folder with the cardstock inserted. Next the piece of cardboard was placed on top of the embossing folder, in the location of where I wanted it to emboss and then one of the cutting plates. This "sandwich" was then ran through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine.
The Real Red flowers are from the dies that are included with the Bouquet of Love Hybrid Embossing Folder.
To make the Real Red outline heart, cut out the largest heart from the Sweet Hearts dies and then using the smaller heart from the Sweet Hearts die, cut out this heart from the center.
The Real Red dotted heart in the center of the outlined heart was cut from the Sweet Talk Designer Series Paper(DSP) and the smaller more rounder heart in the Sweet Hearts die.
Pearl Basic Jewels were randomly placed on the card front. The sentiment is stamped in Real Red ink and is from the Sweet Conversations stamp set.
