Spooky Witch Halloween Card

The front of this card is similar to the Graveyard Halloween Card, except the inside of the card is made using the Book Fold card technique.

The inside of the card is decorated with Halloween Nights Specialty Designer Series Paper and has a bat suspended from the top at the center fold.  In order to make the "free flying" bat, I cut out two Basic Black cardstock bats using the die from the Halloween Scenes Edgelits dies set.  Next, I cut about a 3" piece of fishing line and taped it to the center fold on the inside of the card.  Then, I added fast fuse adhesive to the back side of one of the bats and placed the loose end of the fishing line on top of the bat, centering it in the middle of the bat.  Lastly, I centered the other bat on top of the first bat, making sure that all the edges lined up.

The template below shows where to score and cut on the inside card.  The solid lines are cut lines and the dashed lines are fold lines.

Once you have completed all of the scoring and cutting and are ready to adhere the outside of the card to the inside of the card, you will want to apply adhesive only to the outer part of the inner card.  Make sure that you leave the inner "popped out" sections not adhered to the card.
