Pampered Pets Sympathy Card

A friend of mine lost her fur-baby the other day and I saw this card on Pinterest and decided to make it for her.

The card was made using a Thick Basic White cardstock base, followed by a Basic Black cardstock panel and then a Basic White cardstock front panel.

The paw prints on the front panel were made using one of the dies from the Pets Dies. The large heart is from the retired Sweet & Sassy Dies. The larger heart was cut out using Basic Black cardstock.

Next using the Dog Builder punch, the dog was cut out of the side of the Basic Black heart. The Basic Black heart was then adhered onto the Basic White card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. The small Real Red heart was also adhered onto the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. The small heart is also from the Dog Builder punch.

The sentiment on the card front is from the Pampered Pets stamp set and the sentiment used on the inside of the card is from the Peaceful Moments stamp set. Both sentiments have been stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink.

Peaceful Poppies

Now this has got to be the simplest and most beautiful card I have ever made. This card was assembled in the following order. Whisper White cardstock was used for the card base. The next layer was Mossy Meadow cardstock cut to

5 3/8" x 4 1/8". Next was Blackberry Bliss cardstock cut to 5 1/8" x 3 7/8". The Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper front panel was cut to 5" x 3 3/4".

The sentiment is from the Peaceful Moments Stamp set and is stamped in Blackberry Bliss ink onto Whisper White cardstock. The Blackberry Bliss sentiment frame is from the Ornate Frames dies. The rhinestones on the sentiment were made using the Basic Jewel Rhinestones and colored them using the Dark Blackberry Bliss Stampin' Marker.

The sentiment on the inside of the card is also from the Peaceful Moments stamp set and is stamped in Blackberry Bliss ink.
