This is my favorite card from the 2026 Virtual Card Making Retreat.
The live Virtual Card Making Retreat was held in January 2026, however, the retreat was recorded and is available on a private Facebook page (soon to be moved to a private YouTube channel) to those who purchase the retreat kit.
The retreat kit includes Designer Series Paper, Two-Tone cardstock, die-cut sheets, two stamp sets and one coordinating set of dies, Moody Palette Glossy Dots Embellishment, Flip Flaps, A2 size card envelopes and Basic White cardstock.
During the two-day retreat, you will make 15 beautiful, all-occasion cards. When you purchase the kit you are provided a link to the recorded retreat to watch and replay at your own pace.
I hope you enjoyed my card for today!

Welcome to the Team Stamp It Groups Spring Fling Blog Hop!
Whether you hopped onto my blog from one of my teammates or started with my blog, I'm awfully glad you "hopped" by.
This card was made using the Shadow Box Technique along with the Cute as a Bug Designer Series Paper.
The Cute as a Bug Designer Series Paper (DSP) is filled with adorable garden bugs, ladybugs, butterflies and more! And comes with full sheet patterns and cut-apart designs, making it easy to create whimsical, nature-inspired cards in no time.
For this card, one of the cut-apart designs was used.
The card starts with a Mossy Meadow cardstock 5" x 7" card base, scored at 1/2", 1", 6" and 6 1/2". Next, one of the 4" x 6" cut-apart Cute as a Bug DSP panels was adhered onto the center of the card base. A 5" x 7" Basic White cardstock panel was adhered to the back of the card for the sentiment.
The second to the largest die from the Beautifully Celebrated die set was used to cut the opening on the 5" x 7" Mossy Meadow top panel.
Once the opening was cut out, the card front was embossed using the Ladybug Picnic 3D Embossing folder, which will be available to purchase on March 3, 2026. The card front was a little larger than the Ladybug Picnic 3D Embossing folder, I did have to emboss the design twice. After the card front was embossed, it was scored at 1/2", 1", 6" and 6 1/2".
The Old Olive border around the card front opening was cut out using the two largest Beautifully Celebrated dies and adhered to the opening using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
The creatures on the card front were fussy cut from the Cute as a Bug DSP and adhered onto the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
The ladybug on the leaf is from the Ladybug Garden Epoxy Shapes.
After everything was added to the card front, the card front and back were adhered together to make the shadow box.
On the back of the card, the two little bugs were fussy cut from the Cute as a Bug DSP.
The sentiment is from the retired Happiest Day stamp set and has been stamped in Old Olive ink.
I hope you enjoyed my card for today!

This card was made using the January Product of the Month, True Blue Florals Designer Series Paper (DSP). When I wrote this post the True Blue Florals DSP was still available, but will only be available while supplies last.
