Storybook Friends Easter Greetings

Hey crafty friends! Today, I’m excited to share a sweet handmade card featuring the Storybook Moments Suite Collection—perfect for anyone who loves soft, whimsical designs with a touch of vintage charm.

Layers of Loveliness

I started with a Basic Beige cardstock base, keeping it neutral to let the details shine. Next, I added a Lost Lagoon cardstock panel for a pop of soft, dreamy blue. The top panel is from the Storybook Moments Designer Series Paper (DSP).

To create more dimension, I layered two patterned panels—one from the Storybook Moments DSP and another from the Timeless Plaid DSP—both backed with Lost Lagoon cardstock. This layering adds depth and a cozy, storybook feel.

Adorable Details

The stars of the card? Those precious bunnies! I fussy cut them from the Storybook Moments DSP and popped them up with Stampin' Dimensionals for a little extra dimension. Aren’t they the cutest?

The sentiment, from the Storybook Friends stamp set, is stamped in Lost Lagoon ink on Basic Beige cardstock and then backed with Lost Lagoon cardstock for a coordinated look.

To finish it off, I added a few Antique Pearls for a subtle, elegant accent.

A Peek Inside

The inside of the card continues the theme with a Lost Lagoon panel layered over the card base, followed by a Basic Beige panel for writing a heartfelt message. As a fun finishing touch, I added a carrot ephemera piece from the Storybook Moments DSP—because why not? It’s all about those little details!

Storybook Friends Happy Spring

If you're looking to add a touch of whimsy and warmth to your cardmaking, look no further than the Storybook Moments Suite Collection. From adorable forest animals to beautiful gingham patterns, this collection has everything you need to create a card that’s as charming as it is heartfelt. Let me walk you through how I made this fun and colorful card!

Start with the card base – Begin by folding a piece of Basic Beige cardstock to create your card base. It’s always nice to start with a neutral color so the layers really pop.

Add a Misty Moonlight panel – Cut a piece of Misty Moonlight cardstock to size and adhere it to the front of your card. This creates a beautiful frame for your layers and adds a touch of depth.

Layer on the Designer Series Paper – Next, add a panel of Timeless Plaid DSP to the front. The plaid pattern adds just the right amount of texture to the background, while still letting the other elements shine.

Add another Misty Moonlight panel – For a little extra contrast, add another layer of Misty Moonlight cardstock to the front. This helps tie the color scheme together.

Add a panel of Storybook Moments DSP – Choose your favorite design from the Storybook Moments DSP and layer it over the Misty Moonlight panel. There are so many beautiful patterns to choose from, so this part is fun!

Add a Misty Moonlight fancy frame – The Storybook Friends Dies come with several adorable frames, so pick your favorite and die-cut a frame from Misty Moonlight. Layer it onto your card for a bit of elegance and dimension.

Add the adorable bunny – The best part! This sweet bunny is one of the ephemera pieces that’s included in the Storybook Moments Suite. Pop it onto the card using Stampin' Dimensionals for some fun lift and dimension.

Stamp the sentiment – I used a sentiment from the Storybook Friends stamp set and stamped it in Misty Moonlight ink onto a piece of Basic Beige cardstock. This soft, neutral color complements the overall vibe of the card. To make the sentiment stand out just a little more, I added a layer of Misty Moonlight behind it.

Finishing touches – To give the card that extra touch of elegance, I added a few Antique Pearls scattered across the front. They add just the right amount of shine without overwhelming the design.

Don’t forget the inside of the card! – To finish it off, I adhered a Misty Moonlight panel to the inside of the card, followed by a piece of Basic Beige cardstock. To tie in the front design, I added a strip of Misty Moonlight and Timeless Gingham DSP to the bottom.

Add some flowers – These sweet flowers are another piece of ephemera from the Storybook Moments Suite. They’re the perfect little detail to finish off the inside of the card!

Storybook Friends Easter

Start with the card base – Begin by folding a piece of Basic Beige cardstock to create your card base. It’s always nice to start with a neutral color so the layers really pop!

Add a Misty Moonlight panel – Cut a piece of Misty Moonlight cardstock to size and adhere it to the front of your card. This creates a beautiful frame for your layers and adds a touch of depth.

Layer on the Designer Series Paper – Next, add a panel of Storybook Moments DSP to the front. I chose this lovely design, but the collection has so many beautiful patterns to choose from. The cherry cobbler gingham and Timeless Plaid DSP really make the card feel cozy and welcoming!

Add a little dimension with Misty Moonlight – I backed my DSP panels with Misty Moonlight cardstock. This extra layer of blue really complements the warm, earthy tones and makes the card feel more dynamic.

Cut out that adorable chipmunk – The best part! The chipmunk carrying a strawberry is just too cute to pass up. I used the Spotlight On Nature dies to carefully cut out this sweet little critter from the DSP, then popped it onto the card using Stampin' Dimensionals for a bit of fun lift.

Stamp the sentiment – I used a sentiment from the Storybook Friends stamp set and stamped it in Misty Moonlight ink onto a piece of Basic Beige cardstock. This soft, neutral color complements the overall vibe of the card. I then added a layer of Misty Moonlight behind it to make it stand out just a little more.

Don't forget the inside of the card - Misty Moonlight cardstock was adhered to the card base, followed by a Basic Beige cardstock panel.

A Misty Moonlight strip along with a Timeless Gingham DSP were adhered to the bottom of the card.

The bunny was fussy cut from the Storybook Moments DSP.

Musical Jamboree Birthday #2

For this card I changed it up a little bit.

Instead of using masking paper and stamping the images directly onto the card front, like I did on the previous Musical Jamboree Birthday card, each of the images were stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink onto Basic White cardstock, then colored with Stampin' Blends (see supply list) and fussy cut.

The card starts with a Basic Beige cardstock card base, followed by a Mossy Meadow cardstock panel. Thoughtful Journey Designer Series Paper (DSP) was used for the top panel.

All of the images were adhered to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue, except for the otter which was adhered to the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals.

The sentiment is from the retired Zany Zoo stamp set and has been stamped in Mossy Meadow ink onto Basic Beige cardstock. The sentiment was cut out using the Mixed Labels dies.

The sentiment on the inside is from the retired Sunny Sentiments stamp set in Mossy Meadow ink.

The wolf and musical notes have been stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink.
