Thanksgiving Theme Blog Hop

Welcome to the Team Stamp It Thanksgiving Theme blog hop.  Whether you started the blog hop with my blog or "hopped" to my blog from one of my teammates blog, I am happy you stopped by.

The card I have for you today is made using the "baby wipe" technique.  I love this technique.  If you have not ever tried the "baby wipe" technique you should, the project always comes out awesome.
To do the "baby wipe" technique, you should choose 3-4 coordinating colors of Stampin' Ink Refills.  Drip 8-10 drops of each of the coordinating colors of Stampin' Ink Refills randomly on to a baby wipe that has been folded into quarters.  You then use it like an ink pad, just tap your stamp onto the baby wipe and then onto your cardstock.  Looking at the baby wipe below you would never guess the colors would come out so amazingly beautiful.

Ink the Maple Leaf stamp by using the "inked" baby wipe and then stamp onto Very Vanilla cardstock.  The Alder Leaf was stamped with Pumpkin Pie ink and the Oak Leaf was stamped with Rich Razzleberry ink.  The leaves were cut out using the Leaflets framelits and the Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine.
Stamp the filigree stamp from the Falling Flowers Stamp set using Early Espresso ink onto the Very Vanilla card front panel.  Add Halloween Night enamel dots at various locations on the card front panel.

Adhere the leaves onto the card front panel with Fast Fuse and Stampin' dimensionals.
Tie a bow onto a wooden button using Linen Thread and adhere the button onto the top of the leaves using glue dots.
Stamp the sentiment on to the card front.  For this card I used Early Espresso and Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Write Markers.
Adhere the card front panel to an Early Espresso card base.
