Mother's Day Blog Hop

Welcome to the Team Stamp It Group Mother's Day blog hop.  Whether you started the blog hop with me or hopped over from one of my fellow blog hoppers' blog I am glad that you stopped by.
This Mother's Day card was made using the Have a Cuppa product suite.  The card base is made using Melon Mambo cardstock.  The back panel layer is Crushed Curry cardstock.  The front panel is from the Have a Cuppa Designer Series Paper Stack.  I cut the teacup out of Whisper White cardstock and the Cups & Kettle Framelits Dies using the BigShot die cutting system.  I sponged around the edges of the teacup with a sponge dauber and Crushed Curry Ink.  The sentiment on the teacup was stamped using Crushed Curry Ink and the A Nice Cuppa photopolymer stamp set.  The Cups and Kettle Framelits Dies and the A Nice Cuppa photopolymer stamp set are available at a 15% savings when they are purchased as a bundle.  The "steam" was cut out using the heart die from the Cups & Kettle Framelits Dies and a red foil sheet.

16 card One Sheet Wonder

This one sheet wonder makes such a nice selection of 16 cards and the awesome part is the 16 cards are all made from one sheet of 12 x 12 Designer Series paper.  I think what I like most about these cards, besides the fact that they go together quick and easy, is that the cards do not look like "one sheet wonder" cards.  Over the next few days, I will be sharing with you the 16 cards that I made for this one sheet wonder series, so please check back often, you won't want to miss any of these beautiful cards.
Card A is made using Whisper White cardstock for the base of the notecard.  Pool Party cardstock for the back panel and Birthday Bouquet Designer Series paper for the front panel.  The flowers and leaves were made using the new Botanical Blooms Photopolymer Stamp set, Botanical Builder framelits dies, Mossy Meadow cardstock, Pool Party cardstock, Lost Lagoon cardstock, Early Espresso cardstock, Blushing Bride cardstock, Mossy Meadow Ink and Rhinestone Basic Jewels.  The sentiment is from the Suite Sayings stamp set which is available in wood mount or clear mount and is stamped in Pool Party Ink.
Card B is made using Whisper White cardstock for the base of the notecard.  A narrow strip of Blushing Bride cardstock is placed behind the Soft Suede cardstock back panel with the Birthday Bouquet Designer Series paper on the front panel.  The flowers are made with the Botanical Builder framelits dies along with Blushing Bride, Melon Mambo, Mint Macaroon and Early Espresso cardstock along with Rhinestone Basic Jewels for the center of the flowers.  The leaves are made using the Botanical Builder framelits dies and the Botanical Blooms Photopolymer Stamp set with Mossy Meadow cardstock and ink.  The sentiment was made from the Balloon Celebration Photopolymer Stamp Set, the Rose Garden thinlits dies and Soft Suede Ink.

To start off you will need the template, I have used a template that I found on Pinterest by Roberts Crafts.  When making a card set using a one sheet wonder template you will get the best results if you use double sided paper.  For this card set I used the Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper.  I found that if you make your first cut on the 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper (DSP) at 5" you can then cut sections A, B, C, N and O. With the remaining 7" x 12" piece of DSP make your first cut on the 12" side at 4" this will make it so that you can cut out sections H, I, L and K.  Your second cut should be at 3", this will allow you to cut out sections D, F and part of E.  The remaining section should be 5" x 7", which will be for sections G, M, P, J and the remaining E.

I hope you give this one sheet wonder a try and come back again to see some more of the cards that I made with this awesome template.
