Father's Day Blog Hop

Welcome to the Stamp It Group Father's Day Blog Hop.  I am glad you stopped by and hope you enjoy the card I have to share with you.
This Father's Day card was made using the Picture Perfect Photopolymer stamp set.  I love this stamp set, not only does it contain this Starfish stamp but also a rose stamp and a hummingbird stamp.  All of the stamps in this set are two or three step stamps so the designs really pop. To make the sand, sponge the Whisper White cardstock front panel with Crumb Cake ink. The sand was then stamped with Soft Suede ink using the scattered dots stamp from the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set, which comes in both wood mount and clear mount.  The water was sponged first with Pool Party ink and then lightly sponged over with Lost Lagoon ink. Using Whisper White cardstock, stamp the first Starfish stamp layer using Pumpkin Pie ink.  The second Starfish layer is stamped in So Saffron ink.  Fussy cut the starfish and sponge the cut edges with Pumpkin Pie ink.   "Finger" curl the arms of the Starfish.  Using about 12" of linen thread, wrap the thread into a circle and intertwine the thread with the arms of the Starfish.  The Starfish is adhered to the card front using three Stampin' dimensionals stacked on top of each other and placed in the center of the Starfish body.   The Happy Father's Day sentiment is from the Guy Greetings Photopolymer stamp set and is stamped in Lost Lagoon ink. The back panel is Lost Lagoon cardstock adhered to a Crumb Cake cardstock card base.  To finish the card I adhered three small Rhinestone Jewels to the "sand".
I hope you enjoyed visiting my blog and looking at my project.  I would love it if you would leave a comment or subscribe to my blog.  As an added incentive, if you leave a comment on my blog and include #stampitcontest in your comment, your name will be entered in a drawing to win the Watercolor Wishes Card Kit.  This kit is awesome and will make 20 cards, how cool is that??!
Thanks for hopping by.

16 card One Sheet Wonder - Part 6

Today I am sharing the final installment of the 16 card One Sheet Wonder series, cards O and P, plus the instruction sheet that has all of the dimensions and supply list to make the 16 cards.
Card O has a Whisper White cardstock card base.  The bottom layer is Pool Party cardstock, the next layer is Lost Lagoon cardstock.  The top layer is Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper.  The label was cut using the label die from the Rose Garden thinlits die set and is accented with two Pearl Jewels. The sentiment is from the Rose Wonder Photopolymer stamp set and has been stamped in Lost Lagoon ink.  The bow was made using Organza ribbon.
Card P is the last card in the series and has a Blushing Bride cardstock card base that has been randomly stamped in Blushing Bride ink using the larger filigree stamp from the First Sight Stamp set which is available in both wood mount and clear mount.  The back panel is Melon Mambo cardstock.  The top panel is the Birthday Bouquet Designer Series Paper.  The Happy Birthday sentiment is from the Rose Wonder Photopolymer Stamp set and has been stamped on to the Whisper White cardstock label with Blushing Bride ink. The label was punched out using the Decorative Label punch and edges of the label were sponged in Blushing Bride ink.  The bow was made using Pink Pirouette seam binding ribbon.

Below are the dimensions/instructions/supply list sheets.
