Christmas in July Blog Hop

Welcome to the Team Stamp It Groups Christmas in July Blog Hop!

Whether you hopped onto my blog from one of my teammates or started with my blog, I'm awfully glad you "hopped" by.

For today's blog hop, I have made a card using the Jolly Holly bundle.
The Jolly Holly stamp set along with the coordinating Hybrid Embossing Folder and Dies were used to make this card.

The card starts with a Mossy Meadow cardstock card base, followed by an Old Olive cardstock panel.

The top panel is from the Season of Green and Gold Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP).  The Season of Green and Gold Specialty DSP is on the last chance list, so if you are wanting to make this card don't wait to order the DSP.

The top panel was cut out using the Jolly Holly Hybrid Embossing Folder along with the coordinating die.  It is hard to see in the picture above, however, the die partially cuts the holly leaves so you can pop the leaves up a little bit.  Hint: When adhering the top panel to the Old Olive panel make sure to not add glue to the leaves you want to have popped out.

The sentiment label is from the Jolly Holly die set. I used the larger of the two rectangles. The label was cut out using the Season of Elegance Specialty DSP.  The label fits easily between the holly leaves on the front panel.

The sentiment is a die from the Jolly Holly die set and has been cut out using Gold Foil. For ease of adhering to the sentiment label, the Gold Foil was backed with Adhesive Sheet before it was cut out.

The Cherry Cobbler berries are from the Cherry Cobbler and Pearl Adhesive-Backed Berries.
For the inside of the card, an Old Olive cardstock panel was adhered to the Mossy Meadow card base.

The sentiment on the Basic White top panel has been embossed using WOW Gold Rich Metallic Embossing Powder along with VersaMark Ink and a Heat Tool.  The sentiment is from the Jolly Holly stamp set.

The little holly sprig in the corner is also from the Jolly Holly stamp set and has been stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento ink.  Once stamped, the holly was then colored using Stampin' Blends.

I hope today’s card inspires you to create something magical!

Irresistible Designs Birthday

This card was made using what I consider a hidden gem in the Annual 2025-2026 Stampin' Up! catalog.

The hidden gem is the Irresistible Designs Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP). The Irresistible Designs Specialty DSP has UV-coated patterns that resist ink, making it perfect for emboss-resist techniques.  You just apply ink and the pattern pops out.  It's the easiest way to get a heat-embossed look--no embossing powder or heat tool needed.

Basic White cardstock was used for the card base, followed by a Summer Splash cardstock panel.  The Irresistible Designs Specialty DSP was used for the top panel.

Spotlight on Nature dies were used to make the Summer Splash cardstock circles.  Once the circles were adhered to the card front, Summer Splash ink was added, using a Blending Brush, to the inside of the circles to bring out the Irresistible Designs Specialty DSP pattern.

The flowers are from the Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape that has been backed with Basic White cardstock and then cut out using the coordinating Extraordinary Flora die.

The sentiment is from the Beautiful Butterflies stamp set and has been stamped onto Basic White cardstock using Coastal Cabana ink. This panel was then backed with a slightly larger piece of Summer Splash cardstock.
A Summer Splash cardstock panel was adhered to the inside of the card, followed by a Basic White cardstock panel.

The sentiment is from the retired Sunny Sentiments stamp set and has been stamped in Summer Splash ink.

The flowers are from the Extraordinary Flora Washi tape. The flowers were fussy cut and then applied directly to the Basic White cardstock panel. A Bone Folder was used to smooth out and securely adhere the Washi Tape.
Here is what the completed card along with its coordinating envelope looked like.

The flower on the corner of the envelope was added using the same method as outlined above.

I hope you enjoyed my card for today!
