Just Dreamin' Stamps: Sunrise Sailing Father's Day

The Sunrise Sailing Hybrid Embossing Folder was used to make this card.

The card starts with a Stripes and Florals Mix and Match Cards and Envelopes. These cards have the design on both the front and the back of the card, with the inside of the card white. I wanted to use the back of the card for the inside of the card, so I cut the card in half, which created two panels. The front panel was adhered onto a Basic White cardstock card base.

The Balmy Blue cardstock front panel was embossed using the Sunrise Sailing Hybrid Embossing Folder.

Once embossed, White Craft ink was applied to the clouds and sailboat using a Sponge Dauber.

The water was colored using a Blending Brush and Secret Sea ink.

The top panel was cut out using one of the retired Deckled Rectangle dies. After the panel was cut out, the edges of the panel were lightly run through a Balmy Blue ink pad and then adhered onto the card base.

The clouds were cut out using the Sunrise Sailing dies and Basic White cardstock.

The birds were also cut out using the Sunrise Sailing dies and Basic Black cardstock. To make it easier to adhere to birds onto the card front, Adhesive Sheet was added to the back of the cardstock before it was cut out.

The sentiment is from the Trusty Tools stamp set and has been stamped in Secret Sea ink onto Balmy Blue cardstock. The edges of the sentiment panel were also run through a Balmy Blue ink pad.

For the inside of the card, the back panel from the cut in half Stripes and Florals Mix and Match Card was adhered to the card base.

The sentiment is from the retired Well Said stamp set and has been stamped in Balmy Blue ink onto the Basic White inside panel.

The boat and water images are from the Sunrise Sailing stamp set and also have been stamped in Balmy Blue ink.
