Christmas in July Blog Hop

Welcome to Team Stamp It Groups Christmas in July Blog Hop!  Whether you hopped onto my blog from one of my teammates or started here
with my blog, I'm awfully glad you "hopped" by.
For this blog hop, the Snowflake Splendor Suite was used.
Check out what I made!
It was so much fun creating with this suite!
This cute treat box was created using the Little Treat Box Dies along with Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper(DSP).  The ribbon closure was made using the Snowflake Splendor 1/4" Ribbon, which is part of this suite or it can be purchased separately and Whisper White 5/8" Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon.
The sentiment panel was cut using the scalloped circle die that comes with the Little Treat Box Dies.  The sentiment is from the Snowflake Wishes stamp set and was stamped onto the scalloped Vellum circle with Pacific Point ink, sprinkled with Clear Stampin' Emboss powder and then heat embossed.
This shaker card was made using a Whisper White card base, followed by a Highland Heather panel and then topped with Snowflake Splendor DSP panel.  The Whisper White shaker portion of this card was cut using one of the dies from the So Many Snowflake dies along with the largest die from the Stitched Nested Labels dies. The sentiment inside the shaker is from the Snowflake Wishes stamp set and was stamped in Pacific Point ink, heat embossed with Clear Stampin' Embossing Powder and then adhered to the Snowflake Splendor DSP panel using Stampin' Seal+ Adhesive.
The sentiment on the inside of the card is from the Snowflake Wishes stamp set and was stamped in Pacific Point ink.  The snowflakes also from the Snowflake Wishes stamp set were stamped in Balmy Blue and a couple of Blue Adhesive-backed Gems were added to the center of the snowflakes.
For added cuteness, some Snowflake Adhesive-backed Embellishments were also
added around the sentiment.
Blue Adhesive-backed Gems were added to the center of the
snowflakes. The shaker was filled with Snowflake Sequins and adhered
to the card front using foam adhesive strips.
The Merry Christmas card was made using a Whisper White card base, followed with a Highland Heather panel and then a Snowflake Splendor DSP panel.  The top panel was made using the Winter Snow Embossing Folder, which is part of the Snowflake Splendor suite or is available to purchase separately, and Vellum cardstock.  The embossed Vellum was adhered to the Snowflake Splendor DSP panel with glue dots placed behind the embossed snowflakes.
The sentiment for this card is from the Snowflake Wishes stamp set and was stamped in Pacific Point ink.  The snowflakes are also from this stamp set and were stamped in Balmy Blue ink.  The larger snowflake has a
small Blue Adhesive-backed gem in the center.
The snowflakes on the front of the card were made using the snowflake dies from the So Many Snowflakes Dies and Balmy Blue Glimmer paper.  The snowflakes were adhered onto the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Blue Adhesive-backed Gems were added to the center of the snowflakes.
The Merry Christmas sentiment, on the front of the card, is from the Word Wishes Dies and was cut using Pacific Point cardstock that had Adhesive Sheet applied to one side prior to running it through the die cutting machine.  The Adhesive Sheet made adhering the sentiment to the
card front extremely easy. Clear Wink of Stella was brushed over the sentiment before adhering it to the card front.

Always and Forever card

When thinking about summer, weddings often come to mind and these two cards turned out beautifully and would be very suitable for wedding or anniversary or even a sympathy card.  What I love most about both of these cards is they were quick and easy to make.
This card was created using a Whisper White card base layered with a Petal Pink panel that was adhered with Seal+ adhesive.  The top panel was a combination of Peony Garden Designer Series Paper(DSP) and Vellum cardstock.
The sentiment is from the Forever Blossoms stamp set and was stamped on both the Peony Garden DSP and the Vellum cardstock using Basic Gray ink.  The Vellum was adhered onto the Peony Garden DSP, making sure the sentiments lined up, using Seal+ adhesive applied in the flower and sentiment area.
The peony was stamped in Gray Granite ink onto Whisper White cardstock and colored with light and dark Petal Pink and Soft Sea Foam Stampin' Blends and then cut out using the coordinating die from the Peony Dies.
The Peony was adhered to the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals.
Frosted Elegant Faceted Gems were placed around the
Peony for the finishing touch.
This card was made using a Whisper White card base, followed with a So Saffron panel and lastly a Whisper White front panel.  The Whisper White front panel was stamped with the peony stamp from the Prized Peony stamp set in Basic Gray ink.  The leaves, stem and budding flower were colored using Light Mossy Meadow and Light and Dark So Saffron Stampin' Blends.
The Peony flower was cut using Whisper White cardstock and the Peony dies.  The flower was fairly easy to put together.
The peony die for this flower consists of four dies that build onto each other.  The smallest section, slides inside the next bigger section, which slides into the next bigger section and so on.  At first it looked a little intimidating but it went together pretty slick.  Stampin' Dimensionals were placed behind the flower petals on the first couple of rows of lower petals
to give the flower some definition.
Once the flower was built and adhered to the card front using Seal+, the So Saffron cardstock stamen, which was cut using the Peony die, was adhered to the center of the flower using a tiny dab of Multipurpose Liquid adhesive. The Always and Forever sentiment, from the Forever Blossoms stamp set, was stamped in Gray Granite ink.  Clear Elegant Faceted Gems
were added for accent.
