Halloween and Fall Theme Blog Hop

Welcome to the Stamp It Groups Halloween & Fall Theme Blog Hop.  Whether you started with my blog or "hopped" over from one of my teammate’s blogs, I am happy you stopped by!

Halloween is such a fun time of year, with all the changing colors and the cool, frosty mornings.  The little ghosts and goblins coming to your door Trick or Treating.
The Stampin' Up! Holiday catalog has so many cute stamps, die cuts and ideas in it that it was hard to choose which one to feature on this blog hop.  I ended up with a combination of several of the stamp sets and die cuts.
This card was a fun one to do, almost all of it was completed by using thinlits or a punch.
The background is watercolored onto Shimmery White cardstock using Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie and Perfect Plum ink.  The tombstones were stamped in Basic Black ink and are from the Graveyard Gate stamp set.
The gate was cut out using Basic Black cardstock and the Detailed Gate thinlits dies.  The lock and key are cut out using a Silver Foil Sheet and the Detailed Gate thinlits dies.
The sign is made with Perfect Plum cardstock. The sentiment is from the Graveyard Gate stamp set, as are the bats.
The ghost is from the Sweet Home stamp set.  The ghost was stamped on a piece of Vellum and then was cut out using the coordinating Home Sweet Home thinlits dies.
The cat is from the Spooky Night Designer Series Paper and is punched out using the coordinating Cat Punch.  The pumpkins are also from the Spooky Night Designer Series Paper and are cut out using the coordinating dies from the Patterned Pumpkin thinlits dies.
